The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office most wanted person of the week is:
Miguel Angel Aponte of Del Rey. A judge has issued a bench warrant for failing to report to court on charges of domestic violence.
Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of domestic violence. They contacted a woman who had significant facial injuries. She explained that her boyfriend, Miguel Aponte, had punched her in the face. Deputies reviewed Aponte records and learned he was currently out on bail for a previous domestic violence case.
Deputies located Aponte and took him into custody. After being booked into the Fresno County Jail, Aponte bailed out of jail after three days in custody. He has since failed to show up to his scheduled court hearings.
Miguel Aponte is 36 years old, 5’6”, 220 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair.
