Jeff Davis has been working in the Fresno radio market since 1979. He has been with MEGA 97.9, one of the top five stations in the market, since its inception in 1998.

Noddy Roddy was born and raised here in Fresno. He was a graduate from Hoover High School and attended Fresno city college for a year.

He married his high school crush, Anna Marie Pancotti, even though she never knew me.

Proud father of three great kids. Andrew is my oldest, he’s a police officer and you might remember him on Mega as “I feel good now since I took a bath”. Andrew and his fiancé gave me my first grandchild Garrett. Garrett’s my life.

Next up is my son, Bomber (Rodney). Bomber is a military man. Bomber joined the air force right outta high school and has just 8 more years to retire if he wants.

My last child is my daughter, Mattie. Mattie (14) is getting ready for high school soon. I can’t forget about my dogs ‘Vegas” and “Bobos”. Unfortunately, they both crossed over the rainbow.

Now a little about myself. I’m a proud army veteran. I joined the army after a year of college. It was the greatest thing I’ve ever done. I was sent to Fort Leonard Wood, MO for boot camp, then off to Fort Lee, VA for schooling and then off to Fort Bliss, TX. I did my last year with a tour in Giessen, West Germany where I was honorably discharged and came back to Fresno and worked several jobs in shipping and receiving.

I happened to finally get into radio as it was my passion. I had my first part time gig in radio in the late ’80s and never looked back. I worked at several radio stations, but I got my first full time gig at Mega 97.9 thanks to my big buddy, Jeff Davis. I am going on 27 years here at Mega 97.9. I enjoy every moment with my listeners at concerts and club radio remotes. “I’m Noddy Roddy, you know who you are”.
