Most Wanted Person This Week

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office most wanted person of the week is:

Sotero Olivan of Raisin City.  A judge has issued a bench warrant for failing to report to court on charges of robbery, kidnapping and battery.

Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home where a disturbance had taken place between Sotero Olivan and his girlfriend.  As she was making a phone call, he ripped the phone out of the woman’s hands and refused to give it back.  As she tried to leave the house, Olivan grabbed her arms and tried to prevent her from leaving.  She eventually made her way out of the home.  She contacted the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office to file a report.  Deputies made contact with Olivan and arrested him.

Olivan was booked into the Fresno County Jail.  He spent one day in custody and was released after posting bond.  Since being released, he has failed to show up to his court hearing.

Sotero Olivan is 35 years old, 6’3”, 240 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair.  He goes by the nickname, “Pepe.”

If you know the location of Sotero Olivan, please call Crime Stoppers at 498-7867.  All tips remain anonymous and you may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
