Ricky Bishop


The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office most wanted person of the week is:

Ricky Lee Bishop of Fresno. A judge has issued a bench warrant for failing to appear in court on a charge of assault with a firearm.

Ricky Bishop visited a family member’s house to see his wife. He found her to be asleep on the couch. When Bishop tried waking her, a relative told him she wasn’t feeling well so he should let her sleep. Bishop got upset, pulled a handgun out of waistband, pointed it at the relative’s face and made a threatening statement. The relative was able to safely back away and Bishop left the house.

A report was made to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were unable to find Bishop, but discovered he was on probation. Months later, probation officers arrested Bishop and booked him into the Fresno County Jail. He posted bond and was released the following day. He has since failed to report to court.

Ricky Bishop is black, 29 years old, 5’6”, 160 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. He may have a mustache. He has tattoos on his neck and left arm.
