Robert Garcia

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office most wanted person of the week is:

Robert Anthony Garcia of Fresno.  A judge has issued a bench warrant for failing to report to court on charges of DUI and resisting arrest.

A Fresno County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop near Piedra and Trimmer Springs Road.  After pulling over, the driver, Robert Garcia, immediately got out of his car and told the deputy he would not follow his commands.  As the deputy got closer, he smelled alcohol on Garcia’s breath.  The deputy attempted to handcuff Garcia, but he began resisting and making verbal threats to the deputy.  The deputy eventually got control of Garcia, handcuffed him and later booked him into the Fresno County Jail for DUI and resisting arrest

Garcia spent four days in custody and was released after serving his time.  Since being released, he has failed to show up to his court hearing.

Robert Garcia is 48 years old, 5’4”, 180 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair.  He has a “Raiders” tattoo on his right arm.
