The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office most wanted person of the week is:
Argel Leonardo Lara of Sanger. A judge has issued an arrest warrant for charges related to theft and illegal possession of firearms.
Deputies are searching for Argel Lara to arrest him for stealing vehicles, operating a chop shop and being a felon in possession of a rifle and ammunition. Additional charges are being added to his record following his original arrest in March of 2023 where he spent one day in custody. He was released once he posted bond.
Argel Lara is 40 years old, 6’2”, 220 lbs., with brown eyes and he is bald. He has a tattoo of a “Car” on his right forearm and a “Rose” on his right hand.
