The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office most wanted person of the week is:
Ivan Acevedo of Fresno. A bench warrant has been issued for failing to report to court on charges evading police and driving under the influence.
A deputy attempted to make contact with the driver of a car, who was later identified as Ivan Acevedo. The suspect sped away and the deputy pursued him. Acevedo reached a top speed of 105 mph before clipping a power pole, causing the car to go airborne and then roll over. The deputy provided medical aid until an ambulance arrived and transported Acevedo to the hospital. He was later booked into the Fresno County Jail. Acevedo would then be released with a probationary agreement. He has since failed to show up to his court hearing.
